The simplest body glow routine has just two steps: a brightening serum lotion in the morning and a repair lotion at night. This guide pairs Vaseline Gluta-Hya Dewy Radiance for daytime glow with Gluta-Hya Overnight Radiance Repair for night-time recovery, a complete 24-hour routine for Rs 3,100 (200ml each), and shows exactly how to layer them around Pakistani weather, shower habits and sun exposure.

Why pair a day lotion with a night lotion?

Your skin has different jobs at different times. During the day it defends itself against sun, heat, dust and pollution. At night it shifts into repair mode, rebuilding moisture and recovering from the day. Using one lotion for both jobs means one of those jobs gets ignored. A day and night pairing covers the full 24 hours, and the two Vaseline Gluta-Hya formulas below are designed for exactly that split.

The morning step: Dewy Radiance

Apply Vaseline Gluta-Hya Dewy Radiance after your morning shower, while your skin is still slightly damp. Its serum burst texture breaks into water droplets and absorbs in seconds, so you can get dressed right away, a real advantage in humid months in Karachi or Lahore. Per Vaseline, the formula combines GlutaGlow, hyaluron and 10X active niacinamide to boost radiance and leave a dewy, hydrated finish through the day.

Morning checklist: short warm shower (5 to 10 minutes, not hot), pat skin dry and leave it slightly damp, apply Dewy Radiance all over with extra on arms and shins, then sunscreen on exposed skin if you will be outdoors.

The night step: Overnight Radiance Repair

Before bed, apply Vaseline Gluta-Hya Overnight Radiance Repair as the last step of your evening. Vaseline lists GlutaGlow, hyaluron and a 70X amino peptide complex in this formula, designed to nourish tired-looking skin overnight, with the Vaseline Jelly base sealing in moisture while you sleep. Focus on areas that worked hardest during the day: hands, arms, legs, elbows and heels.

Time	Step	Product
Morning, after shower	Brightening serum lotion on damp skin	Dewy Radiance
Daytime outdoors	Sun protection on exposed skin	Broad-spectrum sunscreen
Night, before bed	Repair lotion, extra on rough areas	Overnight Radiance Repair
1 to 2 times a week	Gentle exfoliation before the night step	A mild body polish

How soon will you see a glow?

Hydration improves within days, but brightness and even tone take longer. Dermatologists generally advise giving a new routine about two weeks before judging it, and tone-related changes can take several weeks of consistent use. The American Academy of Dermatology also stresses that daily sun protection is the single most important step when working on dark spots and uneven tone, because new sun damage undoes your progress.

Tips that make this routine work harder

\nConsistency beats quantity. A thin layer every day outperforms a thick layer twice a week.
\nAdjust for the season. In dry winter months and heater season, add a second layer on shins and elbows. In humid months, the serum burst texture alone is usually enough.
\nExfoliate gently. Once or twice a week at most, and never on cracked or irritated skin. See our full body care routine for dry skin in Pakistan for the exfoliation step.
\nKeep water lukewarm. Hot showers strip moisture and work against both lotions.
\nDo not expect overnight miracles. Honest, steady care is what delivers a lasting glow.

What if your main concern is dark spots or firmness?

This day and night pairing targets glow and hydration. If your priority is dark spots and uneven tone, swap the morning step to Gluta-Hya Flawless Bright, and if firmness is the goal, look at Gluta-Hya Pro-Age Restore. We compare all four formulas in our Vaseline Gluta-Hya comparison guide.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the same lotion morning and night?

You can, but you get more from a split routine: a brightening formula by day and a repair formula at night match what your skin is doing at each time.

Should I apply body lotion on wet or dry skin?

Apply it on slightly damp skin right after a shower. Moisturizers trap the water already in your skin, so timing matters more than the amount you use.

Is this routine suitable for summer in Pakistan?

Yes. Both Gluta-Hya lotions use a fast-absorbing serum burst texture that feels light in heat and humidity, and you can add a richer layer only in dry winter months.

Do I still need sunscreen if my lotion has glow ingredients?

Yes. Brightening ingredients work on tone, but they do not replace broad-spectrum sun protection on exposed skin during the day.

How long before I see results?

Expect softer, better-hydrated skin within days, and visible glow and more even tone over a few weeks of daily use. If dryness or dark patches persist or change quickly, see a dermatologist.

Vaseline Gluta-Hya Serum Burst Lotion comes in four formulas, and the right one depends on your goal. Choose Flawless Bright for dark spots and uneven tone, Dewy Radiance for a fresh glow, Pro-Age Restore for firmness and aging skin, and Overnight Radiance Repair for night-time recovery. All four are now available at Aslam Beauty in Pakistan from Rs 1,550, and each formula is built on GlutaGlow technology, hyaluron and a Vaseline Jelly base.

What is Vaseline Gluta-Hya Serum Burst Lotion?

Gluta-Hya is Vaseline's serum lotion range that combines glutathione-inspired GlutaGlow technology with hyaluron (hyaluronic acid) in a lightweight body lotion. The formula is known for its serum burst texture: it breaks into water droplets on contact and absorbs quickly, which suits Pakistan's hot and humid months when heavy creams feel uncomfortable. Every variant also uses a Vaseline Jelly base to lock moisture into the skin.

1. Flawless Bright: best for dark spots and uneven tone

Flawless Bright is the tone-correcting formula of the range. According to Vaseline, it combines GlutaGlow with 10X Pro-Retinol to help exfoliate dead skin cells and reduce the look of dark spots, plus double UV filters for UVA and UVB protection. If your main concern is marks left by sun exposure, friction or old irritation on arms, legs, knees or elbows, this is the starting point. The 200ml size is a good trial size, while the 330ml bottle suits daily full-body use.

2. Dewy Radiance: best for dull skin that needs a glow

Dewy Radiance is built for skin that looks flat and tired. Vaseline lists GlutaGlow, hyaluron and 10X active niacinamide in this formula, targeting a brighter, dewy-looking finish with lightweight daily hydration. It absorbs quickly, so it layers well under clothes in the morning. For a deeper look at why body skin turns dull and dry, read why your body skin gets drier and darker than your face.

3. Pro-Age Restore: best for firmness and aging skin

Pro-Age Restore is the anti-aging formula. Per Vaseline, it pairs GlutaGlow with 4D hyaluron (hyaluron of varying molecular weights for multi-layer hydration) and 70X collagen to support elasticity and reduce the look of wrinkles and age spots. The brand reports smoother, firmer, more even-toned skin in 5 days in its own testing; as with any skincare claim, results vary by person. Choose this one if firmness is your priority, especially on sun-exposed areas such as arms and hands.

\n $\"Vaseline$ \n

Firmness, aging skin

\nVaseline Gluta-Hya Pro-Age Restore\n

Firming serum lotion with 4D hyaluron and collagen. Rs 1,550 (200ml) / Rs 1,950 (300ml).

4. Overnight Radiance Repair: best for night-time recovery

Skin does much of its repair work while you sleep, and Overnight Radiance Repair is designed for that window. Vaseline lists GlutaGlow, hyaluron and a 70X amino peptide complex in this formula, with the Vaseline Jelly base locking in moisture overnight. Apply it before bed as the last step of your evening routine, and pair it with a day lotion for round-the-clock care. We cover the full pairing in our AM to PM body glow routine.

How do you get the best results from Gluta-Hya?

\nApply on slightly damp skin. Right after a lukewarm shower, pat dry and apply within a few minutes. The American Academy of Dermatology notes that moisturizers work by trapping water already in the skin, so timing matters.
\nUse it daily, not occasionally. Brightening and firming ingredients work over weeks, not days. Give any new lotion at least 2 to 4 weeks of steady use.
\nProtect your skin from the sun. UV exposure is the biggest driver of dark spots and uneven tone. Flawless Bright includes UV filters, but for extended outdoor time in Pakistan, add a dedicated broad-spectrum sunscreen.
\nDay and night pairing. Use Dewy Radiance or Flawless Bright in the morning and Overnight Radiance Repair before bed for a simple 24-hour routine.
\nWatch the rough spots. Elbows, knees, shins and heels usually need a second layer.
